Selling Fort Lauderdale Real Estate using Social Media

There are literally hundreds of Real Estate related websites and print advertising opportunities, especially in an active South Florida real estate market like Fort Lauderdale, Wilton Manors and Miami. Our real estate market is changing. Moving in an upward positive direction which for some, a significant part of the Real Estate Recovery. The competition to get attention to your Property For Sale is becoming more of a challenge    than in the past 6-years. At the Henri Frank Group, we are now using social media outlets  in order to build an online presence. Facebook, TWITTER, Pinterest, LinkedIn are just a      few of the major outlets.

Graph Search Tool by Facebook is one feature that can help. It assists users to locate both sellers and buyers via common interests and friends. This opens up a whole avenue for us agents in bringing real estate sellers and buyers to interact. This dynamic tool allows users to search using a variety of convenient fields. For example, “Shared friends that live in Wilton Manors, Florida, are male, real estate brokers that like the Fort Lauderdale beaches. As a Facebook marketing professional, I appreciate the ability to gather such specific data since it’s not easily attained through other avenues of advertising that we are currently engaged.

As of now, the Facebook Graph Search tool does not have the capability to search using keyword phrases found in users’ wall posts. Not supporting this feature ensures users that their private information is not readily available for the masses. I believe perhaps that is good news for the Facebook subscriber. There are other ways that Realtors can effectively use Facebook to do what we are hired to do as listing Realtors, bringing buyers and sellers together to successfully sell Real Estate. Facebook marketers suggest that agents update their settings to make themselves more visible to related users. The Henri Frank Group Realtors; Jimmy Cunningham, Dan Obrian, Robin Passman, Henri Vezie and I update our “Work and Education” settings with as much information about our real estate experience as possible, as well as a link to our group’s Facebook profile.

With these practices, these social media outlets, we have successfully reached the International buyer. Our RE/MAX International reach is second to none. We can reach nearly 90,000 Real Estate Broker-Agents in 90 countries. In 2012, the Henri Frank Group Realtors in Fort Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, Oakland Park, Miami, Plantation and Hillsboro Shores, enjoyed working with buyers and sellers in 19-different countries.

Although the Facebook Graph Search tool does not yet search the “Basic Info”, “About You”. or ”Favorite Quotations” sections, it’s a good practice for businesses to include as much information regarding their industry experience within the various sections as possible. Liking and interacting with other related pages is also a great way to gain exposure from interested users.
