Wilton Manors Real Estate Meets Wilton Manors Art

In it’s seventh year, the Island City Art Walk in Wilton Manors is held on the 3rd Friday of each month from 7:00pm – 10:00pm, November through April. The popular event stretches along the 1.1 mile of Wilton Drive commonly referred to as the “Wilton Manors Art and Entertainment District.” The businesses sponsoring the Art Walk include galleries, eclectic stores, bars and nightclubs, cafes, boutiques and upscale restaurants. Fine artists from South Florida display their paintings, photographs and sculptures at the various business locations.

With the coordination of group Realtor, Jimmy Cunningham, the Henri Frank Group at Remax Preferred is a sponsor of this important event. Altogether there are over 40 local artists. Dan Obrian, Realtor of the Henri Frank Group is also a photographer and will be showing his work. “We gladly sponsored the event as we believe it is important to bring the South Florida artists to the Drive. It also presents a unique opportunity to bringing art and culture and local businesses together in our community,” says group leader Henri Vezie.

Parking for the event will be available at the municipal lot behind City Hall, via access from Dixie Highway to Northeast 21st Court and from Wilton Drive on the south to Northeast 20th Street.

As a footnote, the Real Estate agents of the Henri Frank Group will be available to the public who is visiting Wilton Manors for this event. There always seems to be people who want information about Wilton Manors Real Estate and all it has to offer. Henri Vezie has been participating in this event since its start. Henri Vezie has been a Realtor since 1999. He moved to Wilton Manors in the early 2000’s when Russotto Realty had opened and Wilton Manors became a popular destination worldwide for gay and lesbian buyers. Castelli Real Estate opened in 2005 and Henri had changed brokerages until February 2011. His committment to serving the LGBT community and this exciting region of South Florida, he had moved the group to Remax Preferred, brokered by James Case.

I had moved to South Florida from Provincetown Massachusetts in 2004. I started in the Wilton Manors and Fort Lauderdale Real Estate business in 2005 with Russotto Realty and then to Castelli in 2006 when Henri and I started the Henri Frank Group. With our knowledge of the area and the needs of the LGBT community, the Group offers a unique perspective to potential home buyers in Wilton Manors, Oakland Park, Fort Lauderdale, South Beach and beyond.

Stop by the Remax Preferred office in Wilton Manors at 2166 Wilton Drive, located in the Gables Business Center Building at the corner of Wilton Drive and NE 21st Court. Infinity Lounge is a neighbor and directly across the street is the Naked Grape, the Art Frenzie Art Gallery and other shoppes.

We look forward to seeing you this Friday, February 15, 2013.
