Imperial Point is geographically located just on the Westside of Federal Highway and East of NE 18 Avenue, North of Commercial Boulevard and South of McNabb Road. Along with other Fort Lauderdale single family homes, neighborhoods such as Coral Heights, Coral Ridge Addition, Mary Knoll and Coral Ridge Isles, Imperial Point is one of the Northeast Fort Lauderdale located on the west of US One Federal Highway Corridor.

Imperial Point is a community in Fort Lauderdale developed by Haft Gaines in the 1960s. Gaines primarily thought of retired and second home owners when he developed this area. Homes in Fort Lauderdale in the subdivision of Imperial Point started developing in the early sixties and features acres of prime waterfront real estate. There are two fixed bridges along the Intracoastal waters that run through the community. The community of Imperial Point is located just minutes away from the beautiful beaches of Lauderdale by the Sea and downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Fort Lauderdale Single Family Homes will have a large variety of sizes, styles, and sizes in this area. There are some smaller 2 bedroom homes and larger 4 bedroom homes. Homes for sale in Imperial Point average in price range from $100,000 to $400,000. This area can often been seen as a cycle. Young couples often buy their first home in this area and transition to a larger home in an area like Coral Ridge, while older couples often downscale to a smaller home from areas like Coral Ridge to Imperial Point. Pools are very common for these properties and this area was one of the only neighborhoods to be built with sidewalks.
