We had been searching for a home for a couple years after leaving New York and not having much luck during the pandemic housing-market surge, even with offers above asking in places like Coconut Grove and Winter Park. When we decided to start looking in Fort Lauderdale, we immediately teamed up with Henri given his extensive knowledge and experience with the area. Henri has been a close friend for many years, and we’ve always been reluctant to combine business with friendships, especially with real estate transactions which can easily become emotional and put an unintended strain on friendships. We put an offer on a home within weeks and Henri was great at negotiating with the owner/builder and keeping us informed. We had not purchased new construction before, so Henri was incredibly helpful in educating us. Once we had an accepted offer, Henri guided us through the entire process and deftly handled the curve balls along the way. Once we finally closed on the house, rather than any potential strain on the friendship, we realized it actually strengthened it. We would highly encourage anyone thinking about buying or selling in south Florida to call Henri.
